| "His printing was very poor and he couldn't remember how to make some letters, and he made many letters and numbers backwards. People kept telling me he would grow out of it, that he was a late bloomer, etc. But by the end of third grade, I knew something was wrong. A friend told me about how NILD (therapy) had helped her daughter so I read the website and talked to Lisa and was convinced that we needed to try this. Before we began, my son was evaluated by an educational psychologist who determined that he did have some learning disabilities. He just completed his third year of NILD and we have been very pleased with his progress. I made sure that he always did his homework and exercises. It wasn't easy, but I know it was what he needed. Lisa always answered any questions or explained why or how everything was to be done. He in now reading on grade level and his printing/cursive skills are very good. He still struggles with school work - it will always be a challenge, but now he has a good foundation to build upon."
